Army sergeant who danced with Melania Trump reveals what she said to him during inaugural ball

The US Army sergeant who danced with Melania Trump during Donald Trump’s inaugural Commander-in-Chief Ball has shared what she said to him.

Sergeant Henry Waller was seen waltzing with Melania, while Trump was partnered up with Sergeant Tatiana Saldana from the United States Space Force on Monday (January 20).

During the event, which marked the beginning of Trump’s new term in office, the US President and First Lady were joined on stage by the vice-presidential couple, JD and Usha Vance, who also danced with members of the military, the Marine Corps and Navy respectively.

In clips posted to social media, as well as broadcasted around the world, Waller and Melania were seen smiling at each other and, at one point, she could be seen whispering in his ear.

The pair were swaying at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and in an interview with Inside Edition, Waller opened up about the experience as people were buzzing with questions on what they could have talked about.

“I walked out on stage. I was trying to contain my composure, but we were told that it’s not like ceremonial composure. We can smile if you want to,” he said.

The sergeant added: “I was just overwhelmed with joy being out on the stage where all these people are cheering for me.”

Waller was asked if the First Lady said anything to him to which he revealed: “I asked her how her night was going. She said it was going good. She asked me how mine was. I said, ‘It was fantastic’.”

He then shared whether Melania had some great dancing feet and was a ‘good dancer’ as he said: “Oh, yeah, she’s a really good dancer.”

Waller also admitted that the ‘only rehearsing’ he did was ‘back home with [his] wife’.

In other news, the inauguration was full of viral moments and you may have missed one of the biggest ones.

When the First Lady Melania and President Trump went in for a kiss, it failed to land on his wife‘s cheek.

A body language expert revealed that while it appeared Trump was pining for a lip-to-lip kiss, Melania turned her face away so that he could only kiss her cheek.

At this point, the pair awkwardly ‘settled for an air kiss’ which was then pointed out by viewers as possibly something to do with Melania’s incredibly huge hat.

Some thought it was a ‘strange’ choice by the First Lady whose face was barely visible under the fedora.

Not only that, but John Fetterman, the Senator of Pennsylvania, rocked up wearing grey shorts, sneakers, and a black hoodie which his supporters describe as his ‘trademark outfit’.

The Democrat told ABC News last month that anyone hoping Trump would fail is ‘rooting against the nation’.

A Donald Trump ‘memecoin’ that turned hundreds of people into millionaires took a hit after the incoming First Lady Melania Trump launched a coin of her own.

Because even when you’re about to be put in charge of one of the most powerful countries in the world, there’s still time for a side hustle.

Melania announced the launch of her ‘Official Melania Meme’ in a post on Twitter last night (January 19), just hours after the ‘$Trump’ memecoin was presented to the world.

The coins come as Trump prepares to return to the Oval Office today (January 20), when he will be inaugurated as the 47th president taking over from Joe Biden.

What is $Trump?

Trump launched his very own cryptocurrency with a post on his Truth Social social media account, where he encouraged followers to join him in ‘winning’ to celebrate his presidency.

A disclaimer on Trump’s website points out that the coin is ‘not intended to be’ an investment opportunity, nor is it a ‘political’ crypto, but instead declared: “This Trump Meme celebrates a leader who doesn’t back down, no matter the odds.”

Trump fans quickly jumped on the bandwagon and bought the coin, and its value soon skyrocketed up to an incredible $14 billion.

Within just six hours, $Trump went from a few cents to $14 and just kept climbing, prompting more than 500 people to declare themselves $TRUMP millionaires less than 24 hours of investing in the coins.

What is $Melania?

Seemingly not wanting her husband to have all the fun, it wasn’t long before Melania announced her own memecoin.

$Melania has been launched on the Solana blockchain, the same as Trump’s, and quickly received interest of its own as its value pushed to more than $5, resulting in a fully diluted market cap of over $5 billion, Forbes reports.

How has $Melania impacted $Trump?

Though cryptocurrency seems to have become a family business in the Trump household, unfortunately, the launch of Melania’s coin initially had some adverse impacts on the incoming president’s crypto as Trump’s memecoin crashed by around 40 percent.

Experts at The Kobeissi Letter, which provides commentary on the global capital markets, described the rapidly changing landscape as ‘insane’.

In a post on Twitter, it wrote: “The coin just erased over $5 billion in market cap in a matter of seconds. $MELANIA coin is being viewed as a competitor against $TRUMP coin. This has resulted in a sharp drop in demand for $TRUMP.”

In spite of the initial impact, Trump didn’t seem to see Melania as a competitor as her social media posts announcing the coin were shared to Trump’s own platforms.

His confidence appears to have paid off as $Trump has since made a recovery, rising up up more than 110 percent from the low it hit after the $Melania launch.

Footage of Barron Trump and Joe Biden shaking hands gripped viewers after being shared online

A lip reader has shared his thoughts on a viral video of Barron Trump and Joe Biden after viewers were left desperate to know what the new president’s son said.

The exchange between Barron and Biden took place at the inauguration of Donald Trump yesterday (January 20), when he was officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.

The event was attended by former presidents including George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as Biden and multiple members of Trump’s family, which is how Biden and Barron ended up greeting each other at one point during the video.

In one angle of the scene which has since gone viral, Biden can be seen leaning in to shake Barron’s hand while speaking to him. The younger Trump then appears to lean towards the outgoing president and make a comment that left viewers absolutely hooked, with people desperate for insight into what he said.

“Barron wiped that smile from Biden’s face. What do you think he said?” one Twitter user wrote as they shared the video.

Another responded: “I would really love to know.”

After taking a look at the viral clip, lip reader Jeremy Freeman shared his thoughts on what Biden and Barron could have said to one another.

Freeman told LADbible that as Biden shook Barron’s hand, he told him: “It’s good to see you man.”

According to Freeman, Barron then responded: “Exactly.”

Without audio it’s hard to know for certain what was said during the exchange, but a new angle of the moment has now shed more light on what went down.

In the more recently emerged footage, it becomes apparent that after shaking Biden’s hand, Barron moved on to shaking the hand of Kamala Harris – it’s just the angle of the initial video that makes him look like he was leaning closely to Biden.

After viewers saw the new angle, Barron received praise for being a ‘gentleman’ and showing ‘class’ by shaking Harris’ hand after she went up against his dad in the race for president.

“That’s a bit of ‘class’ right there by Baron Trump,” one viewer wrote, as another added: “Direct eye contact and a handshake. A respectful thing. Young men don’t do this very often nowadays.”

Barron, an 18-year-old New York University student, was joined at the inauguration by his mother, Melania Trump, as well as his brothers and sisters.

  • Oh I hope the young Trump was classy and cordial. The way this lip reader makes it sound, the one word “exactly “ is too cut throat. I’m hoping he doesn’t carry that trait.

    14

    • It’s pretty clear he’s the quiet type.

      1

  • “You forgot to pardon yourself”

    4

  • What a well mannered young man he is now and looks very intelligent could be a future President !

    14

    • As much as the US belittles the UK class system, they try to replicate it, and it’s all about the money. Money can’t buy class, and Trumps violent anti social views are boorish and second rate.

      15

  • Melanie and President Trump should be so very proud of their son. So respectful, can show you how beautifully he was raised. Congratulations to you all

People have just realized what the employment act Donald Trump revoked actually means for workers now

People have just realized what the employment act Donald Trump revoked actually means for workers now

Donald Trump has made a lot of changes just days after getting back into power

Callum Jones

Some people on the internet have come to the conclusion as to what the employment act revoked by Donald Trump actually means for workers.

President Trump only took office on Monday (January 20) and he certainly hasn’t wasted any time in getting his feet under the table.

Just hours after returning to The White House, Trump signed off on 25 executive orders, which included halting the ban of TikTok, changing laws on immigration, and declaring that there are ‘only two genders’.

And undoubtedly among his most controversial moves was the signing on Tuesday (January 21) of a proposal which would bring an end to ‘radical and wasteful government diversity, equity and inclusion’ (DEI) programs.

The president is accelerating his plan to dismantle DEI plans, having revoked the Executive Order 11246 (1965) and sending the message that government employees responsible in the Department of Labor will see their DEI programs removed ‘immediately’ while they face paid leave, The New Republic reports.

The law was designed to protect workers from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.

Advocates for it have long argued it presents a level playing field for underrepresented minorities such as LGBTQ+ people.

But now, Trump’s order to remove aims to stop companies hiring candidates on the basis of race and sex.

The order states: “As a part of this plan, each agency shall identify up to nine potential civil compliance investigations of publicly traded corporations, large non-profit corporations or associations, foundations with assets of 500 million dollars or more, State and local bar and medical associations, and institutions of higher education with endowments over 1 billion dollars.”

The order has certainly received a lot of criticism online, with one person saying of it on Twitter: “Good for straight white males. Bad for everyone else.”

There has even been a public outcry for the order to not go ahead.

Basil Smikle Jr, a political strategist and policy advisor, commented: “There’s this clear effort to hinder, if not erode, the political and economic power of people of color and women.

“What it does is opens up the door for more cronyism.”

Not everyone is against the changes being made by Trump however, with Louisiana Senator John Kennedy (Republican) telling USA Today reporters: “The best way to stop discriminating against people on the basis of race of gender is to stop discriminating against people on the basis of race and gender.

“The truth is the American people don’t think about race or gender merely as much as some folks in Washington want to pretend.”

    • You greatly misunderstand the objective of DEI. People were not being hired based on race or gender. You still had to be qualified to get the job, DEI only opened the door for more qualified people of color and women.

Melania Trump has predicted what will happen under her husband Donald Trump’s administration following his US presidential victory.

While all the polls suggested a tight race between Trump and Kamala Harris, it was the 45th president of the US who raced to victory.

Taking to the stage at his campaign’s HQ in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said he had ‘made history’ after being projected to win the battleground states of North CarolinaGeorgia and Pennsylvania.

“Every single day I will be fighting for you, with every single breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that children deserve,” he said.

“And that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age for America.”

As Trump declared he would ‘make America great again’, he thanked his wife, Melania, stating she has done a ‘great job’ and ‘works very hard’.

The former first lady, who will be returning with Trump to the White House in January, has taken to social media to share her view on what her husband’s administration will look like.

Melania wrote: “The majority of Americans have entrusted us with this important responsibility.

“We will safeguard the heart of our republic – freedom. I anticipate the citizens of our nation rejoining in commitment to each other and rising above ideology for the sake of individual liberty, economic prosperity, and security.

“American energy, skill, and initiative will bring together our best minds to propel our nation forward forevermore.”

As Trump declared victory during a speech in Florida, a delighted Melanie stood by his side.

Speaking to Paddy Power Games, body language expert Judi James explained that Melania appeared ‘powerful’ and ‘confident’ as she took to the stage.

“During [Trump’s] arrival on stage, he stepped out to pose, looking momentarily overwhelmed. While his right hand punched the air gently his face seemed puckered in a moment of inner emotion,” James explained.

“It was Melania, in a businesslike grey power suit and the towering Barron who flanked Trump exhibiting the body language signals of strength and support.”

As for Trump’s body language, the expert added: “Trump’s gesticulation and touch rituals with her gave the impression that he seeks support and strength from her rather than the other way round.

“While Trump opted to not bare his teeth in a smile, Melania was beaming with rounded cheeks of pride and delight and baring both upper and lower teeth in her smiles.”
