Well, it seems one Taylor Swift crew member certainly has a lot to be smiling about, after revealing how the singer shows her appreciation for her staff who made her tour possible.

And for all those who thought this was a one off gesture to just this crew member… well, Swift has shown she is even more generous than it seems.
According to a PEOPLE report from late last year, over the past two years, Swift gave out $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on her tour.
This included truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists, and video team.
So, pretty much anyone who ensured the singer was able to bring her best for her fans each and every night she was performing.
So regardless whether your a Swiftie or not… this story has got to put a smile on your face.

Taylor Swift is no stranger to breaking records, from her award wins to generating millions in tour ticket sales, as she wows the globe with her Eras tour.
Yet now her fans are the ones creating record breaking activity, as those attending her Los Angeles performance at SoFi stadium have created earthquake like activity as they danced, stomped, jumped and bounced their way through Swift’s show.

According to Pop Crave on X (formerly known as Twitter), it reported: “Fans at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ show at the SoFi Stadium on August 5th caused earthquake-like activity, a Caltech & UCLA study finds. The strongest tremor was equivalent to a magnitude-2 earthquake.”
According to the official reports, researchers found that each Swift song had a distinctive tremor signal. 43 of the 45 songs played generated activity, but the songs varied considerably in magnitude, with “Shake It Off” coming in at the largest local magnitude of 0.851. Gabrielle Tepp of Caltech explained: “Keep in mind this energy was released over a few minutes compared to a second for an earthquake of that size. Based on the maximum strength of shaking, the strongest tremor was equivalent to a magnitude -2 earthquake.”
Earlier this month Swifties were left worried for their favourite singer as she appeared to struggle through her set. Performing in Singapore, a new video of Swift singing her hit song ‘Delicate’ to Singapore fans shows the 34-year-old pausing to cough several times.
Fans took to social media to share their concern for the singer, as one said: “Hope she’s okay. She’s been coughing.”
Another added: “Oooh no she needs some rest”.
“She was coughing during our show too,” said a third.

Others suggested that the changes in weather she’s been experiencing while jetting around the globe might have contributed to her coughing episode.
Apparently Swift’s team goes above and beyond for the star while she’s on tour to ensure she doesn’t get ill, even permanently cancelling meet-and-greets with fans following the pandemic.
A source told Yahoo Lifestyle of the singer’s strict regime: “When Taylor is on tour, strict measures are put into place to stop her interacting with anyone outside of her ‘bubble’. They can not risk her getting sick under any circumstances.
“Going on a world tour may sound exciting, but the reality of it is each day just consists of going from a hotel room to the venue and repeat.”

Taylor Swift is one of the most famous people in the world, and it seems to take a village to keep the singer safe.
Swift is currently on her worldwide Eras tour, which came to Europe in May after months of the singer travelling round parts of North and South America.
And with the singer came her infamous security team who seem to do everything in their power to protect the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker.

And in a new video that’s doing the rounds online, music fans have been left floored by one of her bodyguard’s dedication.
In a clip shared to TikTok, Swift is seen performing her song ‘Delicate’ to the crowd in Zurich, Switzerland.
The fan filming the performance was a mere few feet away from the 34-year-old – as was her bodyguard.
As Swift glides across the stage, the security guard on the ground, who appears to be wearing a Kansas City Chiefs hat, follows her along ensuring that he was close to her at all times. He does so by weaving between arena security guards.
Swift’s fans have since praised the bodyguard for his dedication to his job. One person said: “Wait that’s insaneee I never noticed her security follows her around the stage [sic].”
A second wrote: “I didn’t realize he literally goes around the stage like that! Best body guard ever!! Peep the hat.”
“Her body guard don’t play and we love him for that,” raved another.
Another music fan wrote: “Look at how her bodyguard’s eyes move. So fast. That’s crazy. Imagine that job!”
While it’s evident that Swift’s security have got her sorted when it comes to keeping her safe, the singer’s beau Travis Kelce has previously told them to stand down so that he can take care of her himself.

Speaking on his podcast in October 2023, football favorite Kelce explained that he politely asked her bodyguard to step aside so that he could open the door for Swift.
“I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him,” Kelce explained amid reports that he ‘pushed’ the guy.
“If I would have pushed him, he probably would have turned around and tased me.”
He added: “[It was like], ‘Good sir, would you excuse me? I need to get the door. Sorry. Right behind you. Don’t want to startle you.”
Kelce continued: “I feel like whenever I’m on a date, I’m always having the sense of like, ‘I’m a man in this situation.’ I’m protective, yeah, for sure.”
Seems like Swift is in good hands, if you ask me.

A venue has responded after a baby was seen on the floor during the middle of a Taylor Swift concert.
Swift had been performing at the Paris La Défense Arena in France on May 10, one of the first dates in the European leg of her Eras Tour.
But a picture sparked concern online as it showed that a young child had been kept on the floor of the venue during the busy concert.
The baby was lying on some sort of mat on the ground while wearing headphones.
Many social media users expressed serious concern that the infant was not safe, and were quick to share their worry.
The image was posted on X with the caption: “Get ur baby off the floor and GO HOME.”
A follow up post showed how crowded the venue was and emphasised that it was not safe for the child to be on the floor.
The post read: “Just to paint the full picture this is general admission at the Paris show tonight… and that baby is somewhere in the floor AT THIS SHOW!
“Like WTF they have lost their minds! terrible parenting.”

One user wrote: “Please don’t bring babies to concerts their ears are very sensible and it could affect their hearing.”
And another added: “Literally no words. Hold your damn child.”
Now La Défense Arena has responded to the concern after the image went viral.
As per Page Six, a spokesperson for the venue said in a statement: “General terms and conditions of sale stipulate that all minors (without any age limit) holding a ticket for a concert at Paris La Défense arena must be accompanied by an adult.
“Under 18 children remain under their legal guardian responsibility, it’s venue policy. For spectators with a young child in the floor, an alternative seating arrangement has been proposed but refused by ticket holders.”
People flooded to social media in horror. (X/@whatamind13)
A woman claiming to be related to the baby’s family also posted online as the controversy unfolded.
She wrote: “This is my cousin’s baby. Yes, he is fine. Yes, he had his own ticket.
“No, they aren’t usually this lacking in parenting judgment. Bad moment. Chill out, concerned Floor Baby fans.”
Paris La Défense Arena’s website states: “Paris La Défense Arena doesn’t recommend bringing children under the age of four, even if accompanied, particularly due to the high volume.
“Some events may not be recommended or may be prohibited for children. In such cases, information will be specified on the event details.”

Taylor Swift has been praised after she gave some hugely generous tips to her Eras Tour staff this week.
On Sunday, the iconic tour – which started back in 2023 – drew to a close, following a whopping 149 shows over the course of 21 months.
It’s been a monumental success for Swift, with the tour breaking records for the highest grossing of all time, raking in more than $2 billion in ticket sales.
Of course, while Swift is the star of the show, there’s a whole host of other people who work hard making the tour what it is, including techs, lighting teams, production staff, security, drivers, dancers, the band, choreographers, hair and makeup teams as well as camera and video staff.
And Swift has made a huge effort to show her appreciation, with PEOPLE reporting that the singer has dished out $197 million in bonuses to everyone working on the tour over the last couple of years.
During her final show in Vancouver this weekend, Swift took the opportunity to say thank you in person, telling crowds: “We have toured the entire world.
“We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.
“… I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.”

Back in 2023, at the end of the US leg of the tour, it was reported that Swift had gifted each of her drivers $100,000 each.
Around 50 production truck drivers have been responsible for hauling all of the equipment across the country, so as Swift prepared to finish off the US leg of her tour she decided it was time to express her gratitude.
Sources familiar with the tour told TMZ the singer handed out six-figure checks to each trucker as an ‘end of tour bonus’, with each driver given a whopping $100,000.
With 50 drivers involved in the operation, that suggests Swift shelled out about $5 million to those helping bring the show together.
People have been quick to praise Swift for her generosity, with one commenting: “Wow. Just wow. A role model.”
And another said: “First Class Performance Artist and human being in every regard. Well paid and appreciated coworkers make very happy and productive people.”

Last week, while watching Travis Kelce at one of his Kansas City Chiefs games, Swift surprised one fan with a FaceTime call after handing out tips to workers.
Posting on TikTok, @suziedrew, who is married to one of the Chiefs’ security guards, William, explained: “We know that Taylor is going to be there – if she’s not on tour, it’s a home game, she’s going to be there.
“I’ve always told William, if you get the opportunity to just say, ‘my wife says hi’, something like that, never really thought anything into it.
“But it just so happens that tonight she was handing out tips to the workers, and to the security, and somehow or another we ended up FaceTiming.
“… My husband had a conversation with her when he initially declined her very generous tip but she insisted.”
